The Solid Waste Collection Department is responsible for administering a comprehensive waste management system for the City of Borger. This Department manages:
- Residential Pickup
(Both curb and alley service) - Commercial Pickup
- Brush Pickup (Limited to 1 truck-bed load)

There will be no collection of City of Borger refuse or yard waste on the following 2019 City-observed holidays:

Mon, Sept 2 Labor Day
Thurs& Fri Thanksgiving
Nov 28 & 29 Holiday
Tues & Wed Christmas
Dec 24 & 25 Holiday
When the holiday falls on a weekday, refuse collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
