The City of Borger Parks Department is committed to building strong communities and a vibrant economy by providing safe and exceptional parks, facilities, and programs through effective leadership, collaboration, and innovative thinking. The Parks Department strives to deliver quality customer service through the development, operation, and maintenance of the City's public parks, recreation centers, and facilities to create an environment that is deemed safe, affordable, and enriching for residents and visitors alike.
The Department is responsible for maintaining the 29 city parks that total 96.25 acres. Several parks have barbecue grills, playgrounds, walking trails, and more. Parks support some exciting outdoor activities with facilities for basketball, swimming, volleyball, disc golf, softball, rollerblading, walking, jogging, biking and horseshoes.
Building and pavilion reservations may be made by phone or in person at the Johnson Park Youth Center. Forms are also available online.
